Terms of Service
Last updated: April 2026
By using Solarily ("the App"), you agree to the following terms.
Use of Service
Solarily provides weather information for personal, non-commercial use. The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
Access
Access to Solarily may be by invitation only when the access gate is enabled. Invite codes are single-use and grant 30 days of access. Sharing, selling, or transferring invite codes is prohibited. We reserve the right to revoke access at any time, for any reason, without notice.
AI Features & API Keys
AI-powered features (weather briefings, activity suggestions, route tips) support multiple providers (Gemini, OpenAI, Anthropic, Ollama). Server-side keys may be pre-configured by the operator. You may also provide your own key, stored in your browser only. You are responsible for any costs incurred through your API key usage. We do not guarantee the accuracy, safety, or suitability of AI-generated content.
Feedback Submissions
You may submit bug reports via the in-app feedback form. By submitting feedback you grant Solarily a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use your submission for debugging and improving the service. Screenshots captured through the form may contain visible weather data and page content. Feedback is stored in Sentry per their retention policy (up to 30 days on the free tier).
Error Monitoring
By using Solarily you acknowledge that error events, associated session replays (the last 30 seconds of interaction before an error), performance traces, and custom breadcrumbs (city searches, language changes) may be captured and stored by Sentry (EU tenant, .de.sentry.io) for up to 30 days per Sentry's free-tier retention policy. This data is used solely for diagnosing and fixing bugs.
Weather Data Accuracy
Weather, climate, air quality, marine, river, aurora, seismic, and wildfire data are sourced from third-party providers and may not always be accurate or timely. Historical climate insights are based on sampled archive data since 1950 and should be treated as approximate. Do not rely on this App for safety-critical decisions — always consult authoritative local warnings and official emergency services.
Intellectual Property
© 2026 Julian Soreavis. The Solarily name, design, and source code are the property of Julian Soreavis. Weather data is provided by Open-Meteo under their open-data license. Map tiles are provided by their respective providers under their own licenses.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Julian Soreavis shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to inaccurate forecasts, AI-generated content, data loss, or service interruptions.
Privacy
Our data practices are described in the Privacy Policy. By using Solarily you acknowledge that you have read and understood it.
Changes
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
